I am writing this review specifically about the administrative and front office experience, as the staff's actions prevented me from moving forward with an appointment. My appointment was canceled on short notice, which I understand happens due to illness. However, the subsequent attempt to reschedule and clarify my future availability lacked organizational clarity and left me confused. When I sought further clarification on the schedule—a necessity for me due to being on the spectrum—the front desk staff responded with an entirely inappropriate and disparaging remark regarding my ability to understand the process. As someone who values customer service and professional conduct, I was profoundly disappointed by this significant lack of respect and basic hospitality. While I know this dental practice holds many positive reviews for its clinical service, prospective patients should be fully aware of the highly unprofessional and demeaning communication from the administrative staff. I don’t usually trust many people—especially when it comes to dentists or doctors—but I’m so thankful for Dr. Daysy Pinero and her amazing team. I’ve been a patient for years, and even when I didn’t have insurance, they remained my go-to office. When I finally enrolled in dental insurance, the first thing I did was call to make sure they were in-network, because I knew I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Dr. Pinero listens carefully to all my questions and concerns (and I have a lot of them—dental hygiene wasn’t something I grew up being taught), and she and her team are always honest and upfront, helping me understand my options for the best possible oral care. The team communicates clearly, the entire staff is knowledgeable, and Dr. Pinero and her team always make me feel cared for—even during the most uncomfortable moments (having your mouth wide open isn’t exactly fun!). THIS IS AN UPDATE - 10-28-25 -- Had a cleaning appointment with "Mercy" today. Excellent job, as usual. "Mercy" has been my hygienist during the past year. She is excellent in what she does. "Mercy" is patient, professional, and caring. She goes to great lengths to explain what she is doing and why. As a result, she has help me tremendously with my dental preventative care.
